Important: Poofy never sends email
Poofy is receive-only. Our servers cannot send mail, so any message that claims to come from a Poofy address was sent by someone else and the sender address was forged. You can safely treat it as spam. Reports about it are still welcome, since they help us spot abuse patterns.
What to report
- An account on your service, registered with a Poofy address, that was used for fraud, spam, fake reviews or harassment.
- A share link that exposes content it shouldn't.
- Phishing, scams or illegal content connected to a Poofy address.
- Anything suggesting someone is trying to break into Poofy or other people's inboxes.
How to report
Email [email protected] and include:
- The Poofy email address or share-link URL involved.
- What happened, with dates and times (with time zone).
- Evidence such as screenshots, relevant logs or email headers.
- How we can reach you if we have questions.
We aim to respond within two business days, and much faster for urgent safety issues.
What we do
Depending on what we find, we may disable the inbox and its share links, block the networks involved, preserve records, and cooperate with law enforcement. For privacy reasons we usually can't tell you what action we took on someone else's inbox.
Law enforcement
Law enforcement agencies can send requests to [email protected]. We require valid legal process for disclosure of user data, except in emergencies involving an imminent risk of death or serious physical injury. Because Poofy doesn't collect names, phone numbers or payment details, the data we hold is limited; see our Privacy policy.

Please report security issues to [email protected]. Our machine-readable contact file is at /.well-known/security.txt.
